Why Are We Still Doing This

Why Are We Still Doing This

They said…

A quick little war, one two three
Shock and awe until they’re free
Just in and out with a tiny force
Now we’re stuck with stay the course

Mission accomplished was just a lie
To counterfeit his warrior side
How will he ever save his face
War on terror in the wrong place

No WMDs have ever been found
Someone else moved them around
And all the oil in the middle-east
Keep it safe from those who cheat

Iraqi people, they’re not like us
We’ll pound them all into the dust
Iran’s a problem, let’s hit them too
They’re not the same as me and you

No end in sight, hundred year’s war
So… they don’t even care anymore
How many people have to die
To cover up these dreadful lies

Ask the question and answer it too
This war is wrong and it won’t do
Tell them NO! this isn’t our way
We won’t be doing this today
